ABOUT THE ROLE We are recruiting an Analyst to support Salient Advisory's business. As an entry-level member of our team, the Analyst will contribute to technical research and analysis across client projects, develop core consulting skills, and build expertise in global health markets. Responsibilities will include executing research tasks and data analysis, supporting the development of structured communications and client deliverables, contributing to literature reviews and knowledge synthesis, and collaborating across project teams to ensure high-quality outputs. This is a post-undergraduate role designed for individuals who are eager to grow quickly within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial consulting environment. REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Ideal candidates for this position will demonstrate: · 2+ years of experience in consulting, research, public health, international development, or a related field · Demonstrated ability to conduct structured research (including academic and gray literature reviews, interview guide and survey development, and virtual key informant interviews), synthesize information, and draw clear insights from data · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience in qualitative analysis (including transcription, coding, and thematic analysis) and comfort with quantitative data · Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in presentations, with attention to accuracy and professionalism · Familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel; ability to produce polished slides and well-organized data analysis · Outstanding interpersonal skills to work effectively in cross-cultural, multi-stakeholder settings · Commitment to working as a trusted team player, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, a growth mindset, self-awareness, creativity, and humility · Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and proactively raise challenges or blockers · Undergraduate degree in public health, economics, development, international relations, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred The diversity of our team is a core driver of the depth, nuance, and quality of our work. Travel up to 15% of the time may be required. All Salient staff, regardless of location, have salaries benchmarked against role categories equivalently.
