About the role
Pricing Capabilities Specialist serves as the first-level consultant for pricing best practices across North America PBUs while managing Canada-specific pricing activities. This role is responsible for executing price setting and exception requests, supporting rebate programs, and ensuring compliance with business and SOX controls. The position partners cross-functionally with Pricing Operations, IT, and internal stakeholders to optimize pricing tools, resolve issues, and drive process improvements. Additionally, it develops training materials and guidance to reinforce pricing strategies and enhance adoption across teams. Location: Ontario, CA Why This Role Matters Drives consistent and compliant pricing execution across all North America PBUs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory (SOX) requirements. Acts as a critical bridge between business teams, Pricing Operations, and IT to resolve issues, optimize pricing tools, and improve overall efficiency. Enhances revenue and margin outcomes by guiding accurate price setting, exception handling, and rebate program execution. Enables scalable adoption of pricing best practices by developing training, improving processes, and supporting cross-functional alignment across regions. What You Will Do Review and process price setting and exception requests for Canada across all North America Product Business Units. Partner with Pricing Operations to execute rebates and support pricing programs while resolving pricing and billing issues. Provide expert guidance on pricing tools and best practices to internal stakeholders and troubleshoot system usage. Ensure adherence to business policies, controls, and SOX compliance requirements. Collaborate with IT and leadership to enhance pricing tools, systems, and processes and prioritize improvements. Develop and deliver training, documentation, and onboarding support while driving continuous process improvement and consistency. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related process-oriented field. 3+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Support, or similar functions within a multinational environment. 2+ years of experience in B2B pricing, with exposure to pricing processes and tools such as SAP, Salesforce, or Vendavo. Experience in cross-functional project management, continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma), and training or onboarding support. The pay range for this position is $80,408.00 CAD - $114,868.00 CAD However, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
