About the role
The client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Funding Management System (FMS) project within the Agency Regions and Sector Capacity and Performance (SCP) portfolios.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and an implementation vendor to gather business requirements, refine user stories, support Agile delivery, and ensure the successful implementation of the Salesforce CRM Grants Module. The Funding Management System is a foundational component of Ontario Health's Enterprise CRM Roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Business Analyst representing Agency Regions and SCP business teams. Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for the Funding Management System. Translate business needs into detailed business requirements and user stories. Collaborate with the Salesforce implementation vendor throughout project delivery. Support backlog refinement and Sprint planning activities. Participate in Sprint Reviews and Agile ceremonies. Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including creation of business test cases. Create business process flows and business documentation. Ensure vendor-delivered functionality aligns with business requirements. Support ongoing enhancements to the Funding Management System. Contribute to the Agency's Enterprise CRM roadmap.
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst delivering Salesforce CRM solutions. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce PSS Grantmaking or a related Salesforce Cloud, including Public Sector Solutions, Nonprofit Cloud, Health Cloud, or Sales Cloud. 3+ years of experience developing Salesforce CRM solutions within the Public Sector. 3+ years of experience with Salesforce integrations involving third-party systems. 5+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments. 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps for user story creation, backlog management, and business requirements documentation. Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements. Experience creating user stories, business process flows, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience working in the Healthcare sector. Experience with public sector funding management, transfer payment administration, or funding management systems. Knowledge of Ontario Public Sector business processes and enterprise business analysis practices. PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification. IIBA Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) certification. Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification. Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certification. CPA designation or equivalent financial/business funding experience. Experience supporting enterprise CRM transformation or digital modernization initiatives. Strong facilitation, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
