Journeyman Electrician
About the role
The Arcticom Group, a leading group of mechanical services and HVACR companies in North America, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Fraser Valley Refrigeration in Aldergrove, Canada. In this role, you will play a vital role providing install support to our substantial client base in the Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Marketplaces.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment in commercial and industrial settings. Install conduit using a hand, mechanical, or hydraulic bender. Retrofit or repair wiring/cabling in existing systems. Install low voltage controls for refrigeration, fire alarm, lighting and building management. Install panel boards, disconnects, switch gear, transformers, transfer switches, generators, and other types of equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control circuits for motors, pumps, and control devices. Rough-in and finish wiring of control and electrical systems. Maintain and store tools and equipment properly. Controls experience an asset PLC and DDC projects VFD experienceQualifications & Requirements: Red Seal certification. 1-2 years of Journeyperson experience in commercial projects is an asset. Ability to work independently in service, and order materials to complete daily tasks. Ability to work 40 hours a week with possible after hours calls (wages compensated) A valid and clean driver’s license (class 5 or 7N B.C) Resident in the Greater Vancouver area. Bondable.
