We’re standing up a new strategic consultative function to reengineer how work happens across the organization—by people, by AI, and by hybrid human‑AI teams. This is not an optimization role. It’s a build-and-transform mandate: redesign workflows, roles, and operating models so SE Health can move faster, work smarter, and stay sustainable in a rapidly changing healthcare environment

Why this role exists

To deliver on our strategy, SE Health must be designed around the work itself—not legacy structures. That means deeply understanding workflows and processes, mapping work at the task level, connecting tasks to the skills needed to perform them, reducing friction and handoffs, clarifying decision rights, and intentionally shifting the right work to automation/AI so our people can spend more time where human judgment, relationships, and care matter most.

What you’ll lead

As Vice President, Workforce Reengineering, you will design and hire into a new consultative support unit that will :

  • Redesign workflows end-to-end (mapping work, decomposing tasks, quantifying effort, fixing flow).
  • Architect future-state operating models (layers/spans, decision rights, governance, role clarity, productivity outcomes).
  • Build a skills-based workforce approach that links tasks to skills and informs build/buy/borrow/bot decisions.
  • Partner with Digital leaders to enable AI‑supported ways of working, with appropriate controls and responsible-use principles.
  • Lead the Process Improvement Centre of Excellence, setting standards, methods, and tools that scale across the enterprise.
  • Model different org design, skills-based, and/or agentic workforce options.

  • Work is clearer, simpler, and built around outcomes—with fewer defects, fewer handoffs, and faster cycle times.
  • AI-enabled work redesign moves effort away from manual/transactional work and toward higher-value human work.
  • We’ve determined when to automate or agentify, removing tasks our people dread in order to increase their joy in work, boost resilience, and reduce burnout
  • Leaders can make better decisions faster because accountability, governance, and decision rights are explicit.
  • The organization has a repeatable, enterprise-standard capability to redesign work for the modern human + AI era.

Who you are

You’re a builder and a systems thinker—someone who can zoom out to enterprise strategy and zoom in to how work actually happens. You’re credible with executives, practical with operators, and relentless about turning complexity into clarity.

You bring:

  • Senior experience leading workforce transformation, operating model redesign, org design, process improvement, and/or job architecture at scale.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate insight into executive-ready decisions and action.
  • Confidence partnering across HR, Digital, Finance, and Transformation—driving alignment through influence.
  • A values-driven leadership style aligned to SE Health’s People Everything approach

The total target compensation for this position is $150,000-180,000K. The compensation offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies, taking into consideration internal equity.
