We are currently seeking a competent individual to fulfill the role of Business Analyst to join our dynamic team for one of our major banking clients.
Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and product teams throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze and document data mapping between APIs, web applications, databases, and user interfaces. Define and validate API request/response mappings and ensure data consistency across integrated systems. Create and maintain functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and data mapping documents. Analyze and document forms, including field-level requirements, validation rules, and data flow. Support solution design discussions and ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions. Participate in requirement reviews, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect triage. Assist with testing activities, including test case reviews and validation of business requirements.
Required Qualifications 8 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting web application projects. Experience documenting business and functional requirements. Strong understanding of web applications and system integrations. Experience mapping data between APIs, databases, and user interfaces. Strong understanding of database concepts and data relationships. Experience analyzing and documenting forms, field mappings, and validation requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have Experience working with REST APIs and API documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman. Experience with SQL or querying relational databases. Experience with testing, including functional testing, integration testing, or UAT. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of data migration or system integration projects is considered an asset.
