Job Description

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in IT or equivalent program.

Desired Certifications

Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association, such as PMI-PBA, IIBA-CBAP would be an asset. (Proof of current certification in good standing)

Required Skills

8 Years of Information Management/Information Technology Experience related to the design, development, maintenance, or analysis of business applications (8 Years) Experience as a Business Analyst (3 to 5 Years)

Desired Skills

Demonstrated hands-on experience in remote or in-person facilitation and requirements gathering by preparing and asking probing questions, performing current state and future state analysis for designing and developing the application in the large and complex enterprise level project delivery (5 years) Demonstrated experience documenting business and application processes, diagramming the required process flows and documenting interfaces within application sub-systems, with external systems and between new and existing systems (5 years) Demonstrated experience in developing requirement traceability matrix, product backlog, user stories, wireframe/prototype, user acceptance criteria and oversee the user acceptance testing (5 years) Demonstrated experience in performing business process analysis for complex business transformation initiatives by managing stakeholders in cross functional environment to develop the use cases for application customization (5 years) Demonstrated competency in interactive communication and effective collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders and experience working within a team environment (5 years) Demonstrated experience using SAFe, Agile or similar methodology (5 years) Demonstrated experience using Azure DevOps (3 years) Demonstrated experience designing user interfaces for mobile-responsive web applications (3 years) Demonstrated experience in collecting, consolidating, and analyzing project data from multiple sources to support project status reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level summaries (3 years) Demonstrated experience working within the Canadian Public Sector as a Business Analyst (3 years) Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.
