Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to leverage data and metrics in order to drive improvements and support key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to manage risks and resolve ambiguities within business scenarios.
Responsibilities
Use data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Evaluate project risks and issues, proposing actionable resolutions Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios with creative problem-solving skills Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common program pitfalls Identify and mitigate risks to prevent them from escalating into major issues Communicate regularly with managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to support key business initiatives Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance Support process improvements to reduce defects, improve throughput, and create a better employee experience Coordinate small to medium-sized initiatives to improve daily operations, inventory accuracy, asset readiness, or service delivery Attend global meetings with stakeholders, primarily from the US and Canada Take notes and send regular program updates to stakeholders Own the team Asana folder, ensuring programs and projects are on track, escalating to leadership as required Utilize project tools such as Asana and Gantt charts Add data from weekly/monthly business reviews (WBR/MBR)
Essential Skills
6-11 years of progressive experience 2-3+ years of formal project management experience Experience working in IT or related fields
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in management, engineering, IT, cost, schedule, and quality
Work Environment
The role requires regular communication with global stakeholders and attending meetings with participants primarily from the US and Canada. The candidate will manage projects using tools such as Asana and Gantt charts. The work environment is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Vancouver, BC.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Vancouver,BC.
