Must-haves Strong experience in Rust programming, with a deep understanding of systems-level programming Solid software engineering fundamentals: API design, testing strategy, code review, and technical documentation Experience with distributed systems, network protocols, and secure computing principles Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performance-oriented code Knowledge of key-value stores, databases, and low-level system optimizations Comfort working across the stack when needed — services, tooling, and integrations Understanding of software development best practices such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code documentation

Nice-to-haves Experience with cryptography or zero-knowledge proof systems (a very strong plus) Background in blockchain or decentralized protocols — consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, or ecosystems like Solana and Cosmos Experience with async Rust (Tokio), WASM, or FFI boundaries JavaScript/TypeScript experience Bilingual English + French
