Process Analyst V 📍 Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) 📅 Contract: June 22, 2026 – January 21, 2027 💼 Schedule: Monday–Friday, Core Business Hours Pay Rate: $36.00/hr About the Role We are seeking a Process Analyst V to join a dynamic Governance & Control team within a leading financial services environment. This is an opportunity supporting business-as-usual (BAU) operations, with a strong focus on risk, governance, and control frameworks. This role is ideal for a candidate with hands-on End-to-End Risk & Control Self-Assessment (E2E RCSA) experience and strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly within banking or wholesale operations environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal control testing aligned with 2nd line functions (Compliance, Risk, AML, etc.) Develop and execute design and operating effectiveness testing programs Analyze results, identify control gaps, and track remediation efforts Support development and enhancement of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) Partner with stakeholders to improve processes and strengthen controls Assist with creation of Assessable Units (AUs) and mapping processes (ARIS preferred) Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and testing effectiveness Contribute to risk-related initiatives and governance strategies Must-Have Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Risk, Audit, Compliance, or Governance roles Strong experience with Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) (End-to-End preferred) Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control frameworks Experience with audit or quality control testing Strong Excel skills (formulas required) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in wholesale or derivative operations Familiarity with ARIS for process mapping Exposure to front office / trading environments What Makes a Strong Candidate Proven ability to hit the ground running and manage tasks independently Experience working closely with front office teams and traders Confidence handling high stakeholder interaction Strong delivery mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards Education Bachelor’s degree required
