About the role

L3 Hyland OnBase Production Support Engineer Experience Required: 8+ Years Must Have Technical/Functional Skills • Deep expertise in Hyland OnBase including Administration, Workflow, Unity, and Integration • Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills • Experience in enterprise application architecture and support models • Experience with integration technologies including APIs, web services, and middleware • Knowledge of ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management Preferred Skills • Experience in Insurance / Financial Services environments • Exposure to OnBase migration, modernization, or transformation programs • Experience with automation and scripting including PowerShell and batch jobs • Experience with performance tuning and system scalability Roles & Responsibilities L3 Incident & Problem Management • Resolve critical and complex incidents escalated from L2 support teams • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes Platform Engineering & Optimization • Design and implement OnBase configurations, performance tuning, and system improvements • Handle upgrades, patching, and system enhancements Architecture & Integration Support • Provide SME support for integrations including APIs, middleware, and upstream systems • Define best practices for document workflows and automation Release & Change Governance • Lead production releases, deployment strategies, and stabilization activities • Ensure change compliance and risk mitigation Operational Leadership • Guide L1/L2 teams, reduce incident backlog, and improve MTTR • Drive SLA adherence and continuous service improvement Outcome Focus • Improve system resilience and reduce critical incidents • Enable faster resolution of complex issues • Optimize OnBase performance and scalability • Ensure strong governance and release stability Essential Skills • Hyland OnBase Architecture • OnBase Administration • OnBase Workflow • OnBase Unity • Enterprise Content Management (ECM) • APIs and Middleware Integrations • SQL and Database Troubleshooting • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) • Problem Management • Workflow Optimization • Automation • Migration and Upgrade Support (OnBase → Appian / CP4BA)
