Job ID: 26-21044 Job Title: Identity Access Management Consultant Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite) Duration: 121 Business Days with possible extension Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $50-55 per hour Role Overview This role is for an Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Ontario Government Public Key Infrastructure (GO-PKI) environment across development, testing, and production. You will administer and upgrade critical identity and certificate management platforms, including Entrust PKI, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), while leading initiatives such as Oracle directory migrations, disaster recovery implementation, and cloud migration to Entrust Managed Cloud Services. You will have extensive experience supporting large-scale IAM environments, providing production support, troubleshooting complex identity and authentication issues, implementing security patches and upgrades, and integrating enterprise applications with GO-PKI services. The role also involves designing integration solutions, automating operational processes through scripting, supporting ITIL-based incident and change management, and working with infrastructure technologies such as IIS, Apache, NGINX, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Database, SQL, and Linux/Windows environments. Must Have: 10+ years’ experience sustaining (e.g., administration, operations, support, patching, monitoring, starting/stopping) COTS based identity and access management systems. At least 4 years’ experience must be related to implementations with over 10,000 registered users. 10+ years’ experience designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining large application implementations based on the following technology products: Entrust PKI Suite, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), LDAP Tools (such as Atos Dir.X, Apache Dir Studio/CLI Commands), Windows Internet Information Server (IIS), Apache HTTPD/IBM Web Server/NGINX, Oracle Web Logic, SQL, Oracle database 11g (and later), Solaris, Windows, AIX and Linux. Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Capacity Management. Role and responsibilities.

1. Support and maintain GO-PKI environments (Development, UAT, and Production), including: Upgrade Entrust CA (v8.2.40 to v10) for migration to Entrust Managed Cloud Services. Implement Disaster Recovery (DR) for Entrust and ADCS Certificate Authority servers. Configure Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). Migrate Atos DirX to Oracle Unified Directory (OUD). Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for Entrust Managed Cloud Services. Monitor system health, performance, and availability. Start, stop, backup, recover, tune, patch, and maintain service components. Renew certificates and licenses. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve GO-PKI incidents and problems. Support Entrust PKI Suite components (Security Manager, Proxy, Admin Services, AES, SSL). Assess impacts of infrastructure and client-requested changes. Create and maintain operational documentation. Engage vendors for advanced support when required.
2. Provide operational and on-call support for GO-PKI: 24x7 production support and 5x10 non-production support. Participate in Incident Management (Coordinator, Analyst, Tier 2/3 SME). Participate in Change Management (Coordinator, Analyst, SME). Support networking infrastructure including Load Balancers, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, Gateways, and Routers. Support technologies including Entrust PKI Suite, Oracle Identity Manager, LDAP tools (DirX, Apache Directory Studio), IIS, Apache HTTPD, IBM Web Server, NGINX, SQL, Oracle Database (11g+), Solaris, Windows, AIX, and Linux.
3. Support OPS and BPS clients integrating applications with GO-PKI for Identity and Access Management by: Gathering technical requirements. Designing integration solutions and patterns. Developing implementation processes and plans. Building, testing, and deploying integrations. Troubleshooting integration issues. Developing scripts, utilities, applets, and reports to automate integrations. Documenting integration approaches and solutions.
4. Improve GO-PKI support capabilities by: Defining requirements for support tools. Evaluating, recommending, installing, and configuring tools. Developing and deploying scripts, queries, views, reports, and procedures. Documenting support and maintenance processes.
5. Assist with Disaster Recovery implementation by: Defining, implementing, testing, and documenting DR solutions, processes, and operational procedures for GO-PKI production environments.
6. Implement and manage GO-PKI system management by: Defining and documenting system management processes. Configuring monitoring, metrics, thresholds, alerts, and event management. Working with infrastructure hosting partners to implement operational procedures. Documenting all system management processes.
7. Promote team excellence and knowledge transfer by: Helping develop technical support role descriptions. Creating knowledge transfer and skills development plans. Developing transition plans for sustainment to OPS employees. Delivering knowledge transfer and training to OPS staff and IT Source Professional Services resources.
