Position Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support work within the VSG Virtual Skills group stream. The ideal candidate will bring strong facilitation skills, the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, and experience working within complex program environments such as ESDC or similar domains.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Lead and support analysis activities related to VSG groupings, workload management, and program understanding Facilitate focused working sessions with SMEs and stakeholders to define, refine, and document groupings Translate business needs into clear, structured deliverables aligned with ESDC terminology and standards Maintain and update artifacts such as grouping spreadsheets and ADO work items Collaborate closely with internal leads and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality of outputs Incorporate meeting insights rapidly into deliverables through active listening and real time synthesis Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and documentation practices
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Strong analytical and problem solving skills Proven ability to facilitate workshops and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to translate and adapt to client specific terminology (ideally ESDC) Familiarity with Business Analysis foundations (BAD) and methodologies Experience with VSGs, workload management, or similar operational frameworks (preferred) Knowledge of ESDC programs such as Employment Insurance (EI), Old Age Security (OAS), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), or equivalent domain experience Basic understanding of Curam (nice to have)

Additional Considerations
Experience using AI tools is an asset; however, candidates should apply critical judgment to ensure data quality and relevance, using AI primarily to support visualization and structuring of outputs.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000–$140,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
