Your Opportunity In this role, you will have the opportunity to support complex, high-visibility projects and influence acoustic design direction across multidisciplinary teams. You will contribute to projects that define communities—hospitals, rapid transit programs, vibration-sensitive facilities, and national defense infrastructure projects. You will have opportunities for specialization, leadership growth, and direct involvement in shaping Stantec’s acoustic methodologies, tools, and practice direction. Your Key Responsibilities Technical Delivery & Acoustics Expertise: Perform architectural acoustics and vibration design, including noise and vibration control for M&E systems Conduct modeling, analysis, data processing, and interpretation across a range of acoustic applications Develop clear recommendations and design inputs through reports, sketches, and presentations Complete field reviews, shop drawing evaluations, and construction-phase guidance Support site visits, surveys, and technical documentation Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all deliverables Project Management & Delivery Excellence: Support acoustic projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, schedule, and budget Integrate acoustic design within multidisciplinary project environments Maintain accountability to project milestones and deliverables Client Engagement & Communication: Support strong client relationships through responsive and professional communication Support presentations, workshops, and technical discussions with clients and design teams Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations Support Stantec’s reputation for excellence through high-quality service delivery Leadership, Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor junior staff, supporting their technical and professional development Provide technical direction on complex assignments and support team coordination Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and team standardization Strengthen our collaborative and inclusive NVA culture across Canadian offices

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
