About the role
- We are seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Associate to join our Strategy & Operations team
- Strategy & Operations sits at the center of our business
- Our team is broadly responsible for establishing our corporate strategy in partnership with the C Suite, Product, Corporate Development, and Finance as well as scaling Clio’s operating rhythm as the company grows
- As a Senior Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll be aligned to a set of business segments where you’ll support the General Manager/ Product Manager in determining immediate and long term business strategy, facilitating annual planning, setting OKRs, building business / investment cases, and supporting our business review rituals to measure business performance, seize opportunities, and course correct as needed
- You will bring an objective eye, outside thinking, and a holistic company perspective to the domain experts / leaders at Clio
- Synthesize business insights to help quantify, frame and evaluate tradeoffs to deviations from operational targets and prepare executive level presentation in support of key business reviews
- Identify hotspots in the business that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with the respective business leaders
- Lead research on growth opportunities through market sizing, assessing the competitive landscape, collaborating on product strategy & differentiation, establishing go-to-market business fundamentals, and modeling the financials
- Support product strategy by building long range strategic plans and supporting product operations & analytics to assess and manage performance as well as R&D ROI
- Facilitate the synthesis of cross functional research & analysis, summarize strategic insights to develop business cases and implementation plans
- Provide general analytical support for operational and strategic decisions across the Company
- Operate as an embedded strategic management consultant and resource

- Understanding for how to measure and evaluate performance across all business functions
- 4-6 years work experience in a relevant field (e.g. strategy & operations, product strategy, management consulting, investment banking, business development)
- Strong focus on strategic thinking and analytical problem solving
- Self-motivated, independent, and deadline-oriented
- Experience with market sizing, competitive landscaping and financial modeling
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communicator
- Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI
- Strong ability to query, analyze, and synthesize insights using a variety of dataset
- MBA
- BizOps experience in a high-growth tech company
