About the role

Job Description WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? As a Business System Analyst within HR & Compensation Technology group, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team contributing towards various deliverables on new and/or annual projects related to HR technology. In your role you will analyze the business requirements on assigned projects in order help to ensure program / project system needs are identified, configured and delivered in line with the strategic goals or objectives of the project. The primary application used is SAP on Premise and Workday and any experience in Workday and/or SAP Personnel Administration, Org Management, Benefits & Pensions, Time Management and Payroll and integrations to third party, vendors and other non-SAP applications is preferred. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Understands the HR business and factors opportunities and risks into requirements, conducts information gathering sessions. Prepares detailed business system requirements: identifying, tracking and resolving business systems issues and configure the SAP on premise system for all or most of payroll, benefit, pensions, time and other modules. Assesses and documents sponsor/stakeholder needs using appropriate techniques, aligning with Project Life Cycle and Capability Maturity Model deliverables. Assists in Identifying risks, recommending value-added business solutions to meet stakeholder needs. Acts as a liaison between business and developers, managing stakeholder expectations and clarifying requirements. Assists in ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) to ensure accurate data conversion and integrity across systems. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (HRCT, Business Partners, IT, Vendors) to drive project success. Develops system specifications and test plans, ensuring alignment with standards and methodologies. Elicits requirements through interviews, workshops, and other methods to support business processes. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: General experience as a Business Analyst in Agile/iterative waterfall projects, with a university degree or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis, trend analysis, and evaluating procedural/systematic solutions. Effective communication and collaboration with HR business partners, staff, and management to resolve issues and improve application performance. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in AI tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and data conversion to support decision-making and streamline work delivery.
