About the role
Actively looking for Structural Engineer
Location: Beloeil or Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Responsibilities
Lead the structural design and technical execution of engineering projects. Support technicians and designers during the design and construction phases. Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, and other external stakeholders. Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and company quality requirements. Identify client needs and develop practical, innovative engineering solutions. Participate in site visits and construction-phase support as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), or eligible for registration. Approximately 5 years of structural engineering experience in consulting or a related environment. Experience designing steel structures. Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (such as SAFI or similar). Knowledge of applicable Canadian structural codes and standards. French language proficiency appropriate for working with clients, project teams, and technical documentation. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. ASP Construction certification is considered an asset.
