Reporting to the Director, Global HR Technology & Operations, the Manager, People Analytics will be responsible for advancing our people analytics function through creative storytelling and delivery of our people analytics strategy to enable data-driven decisions while ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy requirements in all operating locations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage all people analytics projects to ensure the successful delivery of workforce analytics solutions including the development of dashboards, KPIs and metrics to enhance our self-service offerings

  • Prepare materials for the presentation of people insights, trends and benchmarks to business functions, leadership and HR Centres of Excellence (COEs) to effectively communicate workforce trends and the story of our people

  • Collaborate with HR COEs to define functional metrics and partner with IT and related stakeholders to co-develop reporting solutions that meet end user needs

  • Ensure the delivery of all internal and external standard reporting and metrics including all ad-hoc, standard, and compliance reporting requests

  • Participate in the research, selection and implementation of a People Data Analytics Platform

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in relation to data infrastructure, tools and automation of analytical processes based on organizational needs that are aligned to overall enterprise goals

  • Partner with HR Technology and IT to implement seamless integrations of data across HR systems

  • Lead the implementation of standard processes and controls that maintain data integrity and align with data privacy standards

  • Partner with Enterprise Data Governance teams and Internal Audit to lead HR data classification and data audit exercises

  • Coach and train HR teams to develop data literacy and analytical skills to support our self-service model

  • Identify and lead change management and communication activities for the launch of analytics offerings (e.g. dashboards, custom reports or discovery boards)

Must haves:

  • Post-secondary education in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience with data analytics, data management and governance

  • Experience working with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • A creative storyteller with a passion for people data

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with an ability to work cross-functionally in a team setting

  • Exceptional customer service skills through a proactive consultative approach to deliver timely solutions that meet business requirements with a high level of professionalism

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

  • Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information with strong attention detail to ensure privacy and integrity of data

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Workday including Report Writer, dashboards and calculated fields

  • Knowledge of data languages and statistical tools (SQL, Python, R)
