Job Description

You will be part of a dynamic and modern team. You will be required to learn about the PI system and its role in the world of industrial automation. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in assisting our clients with developing their PI infrastructure. This position will allow you to work in various aspects of industrial IT, from data acquisition to data valuation through data analysis calculations.

Helping our clients lead the way in Industry 4.0 is a high priority for BBA. As such, you will have the chance to develop modern methodologies to carve out a niche in a highly competitive market.

You will be required to:

  • Learn about industrial automation and the PI system with help from peers.
  • Plan and execute installations of PI components at client locations.
  • Implement efficient work processes to streamline response to recurring needs.
  • Help identify and resolve various issues (e.g., network communication, security, data integrity, performance, SCADA communication).
  • Work with SCADA integration and infrastructure teams to complete the integration of new sites with clients.

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent training
  • From one to three years of relevant experience
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented languages (e.g., C#, Python)
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Asset: knowledge of PI system
  • Asset: knowledge of control systems (SCADA, DCS)
