What your role will be...

Senior Manager, Data Intelligence (18-month contract position)

As the Senior Manager, Data Intelligence, you will be accountable for driving the development and optimization of the data strategy and delivering scalable business solutions using analytics to internal and external teams. You will also contribute to the overall success of the Sales Intelligence team in Canada, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. You will ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationship and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end implementation, maintenance and governance of internal database Sales Intelligence team members
  • Partner with business and internal teams to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support all areas
  • Develop and implement thorough quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure strategies implemented are successfully delivered to customers without error
  • Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimization of data query performance via best practices
  • Create thorough documentation and metadata to share across teams and stakeholders
  • Drive self-serve capability and culture in the business
  • Create and enhance data sets on a timely bases to respective stakeholders
  • Work closely with data warehouse and IT teams to manage development of analytical infrastructure and data models to provide sound reporting and analytics, ensuring all systems and models have accurate information and are available to business users
  • Establish and maintain advance analytics data models and maintain roadmap to allow for scalability, increased efficiencies, and drive value for all stakeholders
  • Create and leverage new data-driven models to optimize business processes
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Post-secondary degree in a STEM field
  • Several years of experience working in an analytics function
  • Certified in SAS; Python/R is considered an asset
  • Experience using BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with building models and data infrastructures; data mining, data profiling, modelling, cleansing, enriching, as well as extract, transform, load (ETL) solutions and scripting
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of profitability metrics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, essential with clients, vendors and management
  • A strong skillset in prioritization, planning, project management, and people management/relationship building
  • Previous business line experience is highly preferred
