Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements, processes and business rules to drive business solutions
- Support technology design and re-design activities through interpretation and clarification of business requirements and processes and assess impacts of changes to other functional processes and systems
- Lead and/or assist with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders
- Investigate and analyze opportunities to help improve business efficiencies and maximize use of QuadReal Enterprise Applications
- Facilitate and/or assist with the system selection process and support subsequent related activities, including implementation and sustainment
- Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system changes, and provide framework to support end user acceptance testing
- Coordinate, support and help business users resolve day-to-day support issues including application software and operational systems
- Assist and support project teams and business representatives throughout projects
- Create and maintain user guides, manuals and other related materials
- Create training materials and conduct training sessions
Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a complex real estate services environment
- Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and support of multiple enterprise applications
- Experience with Yardi's Voyager (specifically Investment Accounting and InvestorPlus), Elevate and other applications would be an asset
- Strong understanding of the real estate business and key business processes
- Detail oriented with superior documentation skills
- Excels at problem-solving and customer relationships
- Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization
- Exceptional communications skills
- Strong facilitation and collaboration skills
- Ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices
- Change management experience an asset
- Process re-engineering experience an asset
- Adaptable to constant change
- Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, multiple demands, projects and competing priorities.
