Synopsis of the role :

The Senior Analytics Consultant provides business, analytical and product expertise to all sales teams and clients on specialized products and platforms and works with sales & other business partners to deliver solutions and resolve issues to the client's satisfaction.
Responsibilities include the design, management and delivery of analytical insights and solutions through data analysis, data management and data science. Primary activities include delivering technical, business strategic expertise and ensuring proper governance of data sources, models, attributes and analytic platforms. Additional responsibilities include providing thought leadership both internally and externally regarding the use and application of data and analytics for competitive advantage.


What you'll do

  • Work with a dedicated set of clients to understand and bring structure to their business problems, leveraging strong business acumen and an organized approach to problem solving

  • Support the sales process through business, analytical and product consulting. Work with internal stakeholders to assess, formulate, and present solutions that demonstrate an appreciation of the client's business need and supports the client's strategies

  • Bring in-depth knowledge of the consumer life-cycle and the relevant application of data

  • Understand how to effectively pair Equifax capabilities with client system interfaces and business processes

  • Interface with development and fulfillment teams to ensure the timely delivery and problem resolution of business & customer requirements/solutions

  • Performs regular validations, data samples, etc. to ensure superior product performance is maintained

  • Maintain qualified expertise by actively mining Equifax data for insights that are relevant and actionable for our clients in the Financial Services, Government, Monolines, Telecommunications or Auto Industries

  • Demonstrate expertise of Equifax data and the process of transforming that data into consumable business intelligence


What experience you need

  • 10+ years industry experience in risk/marketing analytics

  • Experience in Statistics and Analytics - developing methodologies for analytical work and translating results into actionable business insights and strategies

  • Client Facing with ability to lead and facilitate meetings that showcase strong solution development process & approach

  • Deep industry insight of current & future priorities due to changing market conditions

  • Strong project management skills, well organized, high attention to detail and results-oriented
