Synopsis of the role

Your main objective as a Product Manager, Consumer Solution is to develop, implement and evolve the capabilities offered by Equifax, and ensure the continued strategic alignment between the services we offer and the needs of the Canadian marketplace.

What you'll do:

  • Life-cycle management of a portfolio of products via a strong and comprehensive product portfolio strategy and product evolution based on market and segment needs

  • Development and execution of a comprehensive product portfolio plan and work with Sales, Sales Performance, Consulting Services and Pricing to develop and achieve product revenue and profitability objectives

  • Discover and validate market problems (both existing and future customers) and have a hand in the product release/enhancement planning

  • Seek new market opportunities by leveraging the company's distinctive competence

  • Define and size market segments, and distribution strategy working with Product Marketing Managers and define key measurements of product line performance and success criteria

  • Provide oversight of strategy, while collaborating to ensure technical, and marketing aspects align for all products in the portfolio

  • Create and maintain the business plan with active participation in NPI process while handing the portfolio management and overall strategy alignment of enhancements and packing of existing products

What experience you need:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a product management role, defining and launching services that solve complex needs

  • Experience in big data analytics, problem solving, adjudication models, credit scoring solutions (Extra points if you have experience in Risk adjudication)

  • Minimum 2 years' exposure to the financial services industry, for example working in or support large Financial Institutions (preferred)

  • 2 - 3 years experience helping manage and drive enterprise project deliveries
