What is the opportunity?
As a Manager, Finance Systems you will maintain EPM environment and ensure integrity of Financials related to Plan, Forecast, Stress Test and Actual. You will support forecasting and planning activities and provide guidance and support to T&O Finance teams on finance systems, business rules (lines, hierarchies, transfers, etc.). You will also actively look for efficiencies and process improvements.

What will you do?

  • Manage overall process for consolidating Forecast, Plan, 5 Year Outlook and Stress Testing in the system and submitting results to HO Performance Management.
  • Maintain and validate line/unit hierarchies. Monitor business rules to ensure all changes and new items are mapped appropriately.
  • Coordinate, validate and process internal and official restatements to Actuals, Forecast, Plan and 5 Year Outlook.
  • Manage T&O Finance EPM change requests, enhancement process, coordinate and participate in UAT activities.
  • Provide user guidance and support to T&O Finance teams and serve as a team coordinator to resolve any system issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and maintain version control and scenario processes (recalcs, backup, copy, combo, clear, lock and unlock scenarios) and manage Rates buckets.
  • Manage user access to systems data and tools.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 2+ years of relevant finance systems experience (or closely related function)
  • Strong understanding of the drivers of performance and outcome measures of RBC’s businesses
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of RBC’s financial systems (EPM) and processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate multi-tasking skill
  • Solid people and project management skills

Nice-to-have

  • Working experience and knowledge of HR Module
  • Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, ...)
