Job Summary

The Retail Growth Specialist - Front of House role is an exciting early-career opportunity to start your career in procurement within the Front of House (FOH) category development team at Foodbuy. Based on the marketing foundations of product, price, place, and promotion, we work with top beverage and snack suppliers and brands to drive retail sales growth through promotional execution! In this analytical role you will primarily be responsible for researching, collecting, and analyzing consumer data insights for beverages, snacks and FOH foods. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and the supplier base, be responsible for collection and analysis of consumer and market data insights and deliver recommendations to drive growth in beverage and snack categories. You will develop performance reporting to identify opportunities to align Sector purchases to the market. As a Retail Growth Analyst, you will be required to leverage skills including good communication, attention to detail, data analysis, time management, exceptional organization, and responsiveness.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Retail Growth Specialist - Front of House, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Collect and analyze category insights for cold beverage, hot beverage, snacks and FOH foods.
  • Perform analysis on insights from annual Beverage Plan-o-Gram presentations.
  • Perform analysis of insights from annual Snack presentations.
  • Develop resource tools that catalog all category and market insights.
  • Develop performance reporting to identify opportunities for indexing to the market.
  • Manage and organize data insights for company sustainability efforts.
  • Support category managers (as assigned) in presentation data and communication materials.
  • Responsible for system data integrity to ensure information accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Beverage or Food Industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Analytical mindset: ability to tackle complicated issues by evaluating information you've gathered and organized. Analytical thinkers can detect patterns between datasets that often lead to creative solutions. They're able to turn noisy data and information into action.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional work quality.
  • A proven track record of delivering results while being self-motivated and driven.
  • Time management skillset and ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables.
  • A great attitude - flexibility, optimism, resourcefulness, and transparency.
  • Adaptable to change and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
