What you'll do

The Technology and Projects Team works towards driving operational performance, improving quality, and supporting safety within the Distribution Centre. The Technology and Projects team is accountable for managing change, identifying, and improving complex processes and tactical thinking.

The Manhattan Super Users are a key part of the team providing support for the Manhattan suite of applications (Warehouse Management, Labour Management, Supply Chain Intelligence, and Slotting) within our distribution network, including EAP depots, FGL Marks facilities.

The team triages and helps to resolve system based operational issues in addition to providing insights and expertise to various enterprise projects and building specific enhancements.

Manhattan Super Users work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Distribution Operations, Corporate IT, Projects, Transportation, Operations Planning and the Supply Chain Leadership Teams.

  • Identify and action opportunities for systemic enhancements to the Manhattan suite of applications in support of realizing operational efficiencies within the Distribution and Automotive Hard parts facilities

  • Carry out detailed investigation to determine root cause of issues within the Manhattan suite of applications

  • Support IT, Business, and Vendor stakeholders in the investigation of integration issues up and downstream of the Manhattan suite of applications

  • Work cross functionally with IT to support the ongoing optimization within DC systems

  • Collaborate with Project teams, IT, Operations, and Vendor (Manhattan) stakeholders during design, build and implementation project phases

  • Develop ad hoc analysis and reporting to support Supply Chain leadership decision making

  • Provide subject matter expert (SME) support on the Manhattan suite of applications to the DC management and operations staff

  • Utilize Manhattan SCI to develop reports and dashboards to measure Distribution key performance indicators (KPI)

  • Participate in ongoing administrative KTLO maintenance (managing group e-mail inbox, etc)

  • Commit to ongoing personal development to maintain and enhance level of SME knowledge of Manhattan systems, with a comprehensive understanding of Manhattan data structures

  • Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations with all CTC safety Policies/Programs/Procedures/Requirements

Note: This role requires rotational pager support in the event of Severity 1, 2, and EP3 production issues - supporting the business operations 24/7

What you bring

  • Post Secondary Education in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Candidates with functional knowledge of Manhattan WMOS configuration preferred. Experience with other WM systems will be considered

  • Functional; knowledge of WES, PMM

  • Proficiency in SQL

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills

  • Self-starter, able to work with a high degree of autonomy

  • Team player able to collaborate with all levels of the organization

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Visio)

  • Experience with data management software (ie. Power BI) is an asset

  • Experience with CTR, FGL/Marks an asset
