Teck is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. Reporting to Superintendent, Feed Assessment, the Process Engineer is responsible for execution of process development and optimization projects for Teck's Trail Operations Pb-Zn Metallurgical facility. We require someone who is self-motivated, has strong problem-solving skills, knowledgeable in extractive metallurgy knowledge, and has a passion for continuous improvement.
This role is based in the welcoming community of Trail, situated in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Here you will find outdoor adventure at your fingertips! Salary Range: $101,000 - $125,000
This role is eligible to hire up to a Senior level candidate.
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail, British Columbia. Relocation assistance will be offered however there is no camp or company housing.
