About this opportunity:

The Field Data Capture Analyst is responsible for the front-end maintenance of the field data capture application Energy Components for the Conventional business unit. This role reports up through Conventional Operations and has a business-facing focus. This role will require a motivated individual with attention to detail, strong communication skills and a critical-thinking attitude.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for executing operational flow changes and configuration changes within the Field Data Capture system.

  • Coordinate with Field Operations to ensure objects in Energy Components meet their data entry/interface requirements.

  • Coordinate with Measurement team to ensure the configuration is in accordance with CVE and Industry measurement requirements.

  • Able to understand Flow/Measurement schematics.

  • Ability to troubleshoot daily production issues.

  • Support Production Operations by assisting with correcting any issues in daily production data.

  • Review daily production volumes in order to optimize data accuracy.

  • Ability to collaborate within a team setting is required.

  • Assist in training for end users in the Field Data Capture space.

  • Written and verbal communications with other business units required.

  • Help supply end users with adhoc data requests.

  • Work with the Production Accounting team members to address data issues at month end.

  • Monitor Request Tool and respond to support requests.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in Field Data Capture maintenance/use.

  • Practical working knowledge of measurement and operations practices.

  • Energy Components experience an asset, but not required.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively and build strong working relationships across disciplines, departments and other teams.
