***Please note this is a 6-month contract for an independent contractor

The Data Analyst will be an integral member of a global team responsible for the Financial Transformation Program, including the implementation of a global practice management and accounting system. He/she will be responsible for data clean-up, data conversions, data extraction and analysis, and data reconciliations between the core financial application and 3rd party applications.


Formal Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (business administration, accounting, information technology, etc.)
  • Finance and accounting experience an asset

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5 to 8 years experience as a data analyst
  • Strong SQL and data analytics skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience with data clean up, data conversions and data reconciliations
  • Working with Third Party suppliers / hosts of applications
  • Experience with the business and technical requirements of large scale finance system implementations and integration to external applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the full application implementation life cycle requiring the integration of multiple systems
  • Creation and documentation of technical specification documents for application integrations
  • Knowledge of the Legal or other professional services industry, an asset
  • Experience in large, complex international organizations, an asset

  • Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite
  • Ability to work remotely in a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours to accommodate teams located across multiple time zones

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
