Location Ottawa Language English Required Security Clearance Secret Security Clearance Required We are seeking a Senior Product Owner / Agile Delivery Lead for a contract lasting from September 28, 2026, to August 27, 2027. The position is remote, with travel as required, and requires a valid Government of Canada Secret security clearance. The resource will manage an entire cross-functional defence data team comprising Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Analysts, including project dependencies and feature releases across multiple concurrent lines of effort. Products will operate at the Protected A level or higher and be administered directly through an enterprise Azure DevOps (ADO) environment. Candidates must hold a valid PMP, a master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Managerial Economics, or a closely related business/management discipline from a recognized Canadian university, and an active advanced Product Owner certification: A-CSPO, CSP-PO, PSPO II, PSPO III, or SAFe POPM. Candidates must also clearly demonstrate at least five continuous years within the past eight years operating as a Senior Product Owner or Agile Delivery Lead for a Government of Canada National Defence or national security/intelligence data team. Applicants who cannot clearly demonstrate every mandatory credential and experience requirement will not be considered.

Requirements

Requires a master's degree in a business/management discipline, PMP certification, and an advanced Product Owner certification. Must have at least five years of experience as a Senior Product Owner or Agile Delivery Lead for Government of Canada national security or defence data teams.
