Senior Business Analyst

Project Description: We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in the trading lifecycle and collateral management, combined with proven skills in data analysis and data product review. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams, ensuring effective delivery of initiatives in an agile environment. In addition, this role will also take on Scrum Master responsibilities, driving agile ceremonies and fostering continuous improvement across the team. This role is for subcontractors. Responsibilities: Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering Engage with trading desks, risk, treasury, operations, and collateral teams to capture and analyze business needs. Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, process flows, and user stories with acceptance criteria. Partner with the product owner to refine and prioritize the backlog in line with strategic objectives. Collateral Management Focus Evaluate and improve workflows around collateral management and intraday collateral movement. Support delivery of solutions that strengthen efficiency, transparency, and compliance in collateral processes. Data Analysis & Product Review Perform data analysis to validate requirements, identify trends, and ensure data integrity across trading and collateral domains. Understand, review, and assess data products, reports, and pipelines to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with business needs. Collaborate with data engineering and data governance teams to address quality issues and support decision-making. Scrum Master Responsibilities Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement). Track progress, remove blockers, and promote agile best practices. Drive continuous improvement within the team. Stakeholder Management & Delivery Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Ensure timely delivery of features and initiatives, highlighting risks and dependencies. Communicate status updates and findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders. Mandatory Skills Description: Focus Area: Requirements definition, analyst workflow design, acceptance criteria validation, UAT, adoption, and human-in-the-loop review gate design Key Responsibilities and Skills: Expert in Agile methodology; owns the process mapping and creates epics/stories for the end-to-end multiple determination workflow—inputs, transformations, outputs, and dependencies between stories. Liaise between the engineering team and the stakeholders to resolve open design decisions Define and refine acceptance criteria for each story in collaboration with the business teams—ensuring outputs match expectations, and the stories adhere to the DoR and DoD. Manage backlog, Design the human-in-the-loop review gates — what information is surfaced to analysts, how overrides are captured, and how analyst sign-off flows through the system Manage the Data Schema reference document, mapping document—field definitions, mandatory vs. optional classifications, source hierarchy rules, and controlled vocabularies Validate prototype outputs against requirements; cross-functional stakeholder management across multiple projects. UAT coordination, user adoption support and test case design; define OKRs and supporting work. AI product and finance experience Languages: English: C1 Advanced

The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver trading and collateral management initiatives. It combines senior business analysis with Scrum Master duties to facilitate agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement.

Candidates must have expert-level knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in the trading lifecycle and collateral management. Proficiency in data analysis, requirements definition, and AI product experience within the finance sector is required.
