Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Wealth Management Location: Toronto, ON Job Type: Contract Experience: 7+ Years Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in the Wealth Management domain. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions and driving system enhancements. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Wealth Management stakeholders. Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for development teams. Conduct impact analysis and feasibility assessments for proposed system changes. Collaborate with developers, QA teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive business and technical documentation. Support system testing, quality assurance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend optimization solutions. Participate in project planning, estimation, status tracking, and delivery activities. Manage stakeholder communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within Wealth Management. Strong knowledge of Wealth Management products, services, and business processes. Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. Hands-on experience with JIRA for ticket creation, tracking, and workflow management. Hands-on experience with Confluence for documentation and collaboration. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of Wealth Management regulatory requirements and compliance. Experience with data visualization and reporting tools. Familiarity with banking systems, financial platforms, and enterprise application architecture.
