AMZ Prep is a fast-growing 3PL and e-commerce fulfillment organization helping brands scale their operations through reliable fulfillment, technology, and data-driven solutions. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Business Analyst – Data, Operations & Process Improvement to help us turn operational data into actionable insights, improve processes, and identify opportunities to make our business more efficient, scalable, and accurate. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, improving processes, and collaborating across teams. You’ll work closely with Operations, IT, Finance, Project Management, and Client Success to understand business challenges and help implement practical solutions. What you will do Data Analysis & Business Insights Collect, analyze, validate, and interpret operational and business data. Identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Analyze operational performance and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Support management with data-driven insights for decision-making. Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable across reporting sources. Reporting & KPIs Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance trackers. Develop and monitor KPIs related to fulfillment, productivity, accuracy, service levels, and operational performance. Use tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, and Looker to communicate insights effectively. Identify performance gaps and work with stakeholders to develop improvement plans. Process Improvement Review operational workflows, processes, and SOPs to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Map current and future-state processes and recommend improvements. Conduct root-cause analysis to understand why issues occur. Develop and track action plans through resolution. Help standardize processes and improve productivity, accuracy, and scalability. Technology, Systems & Automation Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and automation. Work with IT and Operations teams to define business requirements and desired outcomes. Support system implementations, enhancements, testing, and UAT. Help validate system outputs and ensure data integrity. Evaluate opportunities to reduce manual work through automation and better system integration. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, IT, Finance, Project Management, and Client Success on business improvement initiatives. Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable solutions. Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Help teams use data and standardized processes to improve day-to-day performance. Documentation Create and maintain process maps, SOPs, business requirements, workflows, and training documentation. Keep documentation current as processes and systems evolve. What we're looking for 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Operations, Process Improvement, or a related role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills. Experience creating reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking. Ability to analyze data and translate findings into practical business recommendations. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing operational environment. A continuous-improvement mindset with a focus on finding better ways to work. What you’ll do

The role focuses on transforming operational data into actionable insights to improve efficiency and scalability across the organization. Key duties include building KPI dashboards, mapping operational workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system automations.

Requirements

Candidates need at least 2 years of experience in business or data analysis and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Looker and a background in 3PL/e-commerce fulfillment is highly preferred.
