Data Business Analyst FRENCH is REQUIRED Location: Montreal, QC (Remote – Candidates must be located in Quebec or Ontario) Contract: Until January 31, 2027 (with possibility of extension) Hours: 35 hours per week Rate: $60-65/hour inc About the Role We are looking for a Data Business Analyst to work closely with business leaders and data consumers to gather reporting and analytics requirements and deliver business intelligence solutions. This role combines business analysis, data analytics, and product ownership. You'll work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, document requirements, and support the development of dashboards and reporting solutions while helping manage the roadmap for the Corporate Services data domain. Key Responsibilities Gather business and reporting requirements from stakeholders and business leaders. Analyze business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements. Create business requirement documents and technical specifications. Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and other BI tools. Work with data from SAP ECC/S4, particularly within EWM, MM, and TMS modules. Develop a strong understanding of business processes and recommend reporting and data quality improvements. Act as a Product Owner by prioritizing work, managing user stories, and maintaining the product roadmap. Partner with developers and analytics teams to deliver high-quality reporting solutions. Provide ongoing support for reporting platforms, including data loads, updates, and troubleshooting. Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or hybrid functional/technical role. Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse concepts. Hands-on experience with Power BI. Experience working with SAP ECC/S4, preferably within EWM, MM, or TMS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and interest in data, reporting, and new technologies. Nice to Have Agile experience. Product Owner or roadmap management experience. Snowflake. Tableau. Dataiku. Collibra. Lucidchart. Knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics processes. Experience using AI tools within Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.

What you’ll do

The role involves gathering reporting and analytics requirements from stakeholders to deliver business intelligence solutions. It also requires acting as a Product Owner to manage the roadmap and develop dashboards using Power BI.

Requirements

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a BA role and proficiency with Power BI and SAP ECC/S4. A bachelor's degree in a technical or business field and fluency in French are required.
