This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Clinical Business Analyst – Clinical Documentation based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a major clinical information transformation focused on improving healthcare delivery through standardized digital systems. You will help shape clinical documentation practices, workflows, templates, and content within a large-scale healthcare environment. Working closely with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other clinical stakeholders, you will translate operational needs into effective digital solutions. The role combines clinical informatics expertise with business analysis, requirements gathering, process design, and implementation support. You will play an important part in enabling consistent documentation and workflows across acute-care settings. This is a collaborative opportunity for an experienced analyst who understands both clinical environments and complex EHR or CIS transformations. \n Accountabilities Support the standardization and implementation of clinical documentation practices, workflows, templates, and clinical content across a large-scale clinical information transformation. Gather and analyze requirements from physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical subject matter experts, and other healthcare stakeholders. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to identify business needs, workflow requirements, use cases, and opportunities for improvement. Conduct detailed business process analysis and translate clinical requirements into clear functional and design documentation. Develop and maintain business analysis deliverables supporting clinical documentation and inpatient medicine. Contribute to the design and implementation of clinical workflows within Clinical Information Systems, EHR, or EMR environments. Collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders, project teams, SMEs, and technology professionals to ensure solutions align with operational and clinical needs. Support the successful transition from multiple standalone hospital information systems toward standardized and integrated clinical information capabilities. Requirements University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. At least 5 years of experience as a Clinical Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, Clinical Business Analyst, or in a comparable role. At least 5 years of experience in clinical documentation, including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design, and business analysis documentation. At least 5 years of experience supporting large-scale acute-care digital health transformations or CIS/EHR implementations. Direct experience implementing Clinical Information Systems, Electronic Health Records, or Electronic Medical Records at a comparable scale. Demonstrated experience developing clinical deliverables that support Inpatient Medicine. Strong understanding of acute-care clinical workflows, clinical documentation practices, and healthcare operations. Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with clinical professionals, SMEs, project teams, and diverse healthcare stakeholders. Comfortable working in complex transformation programs where clinical, operational, and technology requirements must be aligned.
