Responsibilities:

-       Lead and manage a team of dispatchers, ensuring smooth daily operations and achievement of performance goals.

-       Coach, train, and mentor team members to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.

-       Oversee transportation planning and dispatching (LTL, containers, vans, and tractor-trailers) to optimize resource utilization.

-       Monitor driver performance and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in collaboration with the dedicated team.

-       Maintain accurate records in the Transportation Management System (TMS) and ensure operational data accuracy.

-       Work closely with drivers, clients, and other departments to quickly resolve operational issues.

-       Analyze operations to improve delivery punctuality, reduce delays, and optimize overall efficiency.

-       Participate in operational capacity planning according to peak periods, holidays, and company growth.

-       Perform other related tasks aimed at ensuring operational efficiency.

Requirements:

-       Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation dispatch.

-       Experience managing a team (important asset).

-       Strong communication and organizational skills.

-       Experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) (asset).

Salary: $85,000 per year.

Schedule: Day shift.
