Senior Business Analyst - Capital Markets Location: Edmonton, AB Onsite Flexibility: Remote Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 8 months Pay Rate: C$75.00–C$180.00 / Hour (CAD) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets for a full-time contract engagement. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in buy-side capabilities, end-to-end investment lifecycles, and translating complex business requirements for portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams into functional system specifications. Key Responsibilities Work directly with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for investment systems and workflows. Support the full end-to-end lifecycle of public or private market securities and investments. Support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of investment management platforms. Assist in the design and development of liquidity management solutions and complex instrument workflows. Required Experience 5 years of demonstrated experience in capital markets, with a focus on buy-side capabilities, workflows, and systems. 5 years of expertise in the end-to-end lifecycle of public or private market securities and investments. 5 years of experience working directly with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for investment platforms. Nice-to-Have Experience 3 years of experience supporting the implementation, configuration, or ongoing enhancement of investment platforms (e.g., Aladdin, eFront, SimCorp Dimension, Bloomberg AIM/PORT). 3 years of experience working with Cleared and OTC derivatives, Repos, and other complex financial instruments. 3 years of experience supporting the design and development of liquidity management workflows.
