POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cameco's tax, treasury and corporate strategy department is looking for a highly effective, professional, and analytically-minded individual to join the team. Reporting to the manager, risk and insurance, you will be responsible for the implementation of the risk management program through the facilitation of risk assessments, liaising with risk owners across the organization and facilitating the reporting of risks to senior management and the board of directors.
You will be a regular user of the enterprise risk management (ERM) database, updating information, ensuring proper functionality and working to continually improve the existing system. You will utilize the data to provide meaningful reports and narrative of Cameco's risk activities and emerging issues to key stakeholders. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of Cameco's risk policy and standard in order to provide guidance on the completion of risk assessments and risk reporting.
