As a Web Analytics and Cybermetrics Adviser, you will contribute to the development of our digital properties by using cybermetrics as a decision-making tool. Your mandate will consist of developing and evolving web analytics systems, developing dashboards and performing various analyses. You will have to respond to data extraction needs, create and produce reports and digital performance indicators through the development and administration of information systems. You will also contribute to the integration and exploitation of data from other corporate systems in order to enrich the information related to web browsing.

Team Mission

The Business Performance & Digital department of the P&C Insurance sector is responsible for providing a complete view and in-depth understanding of business performance & digital channels in addition to supporting the various business squads and sectors. In addition to the business side, she is an expert in analyzing and interpreting the digital component of the omnichannel member-customer journey. She acts as a KPI and target owner, proactively assisting and influencing stakeholders to achieve growth ambitions and to drive digital transformation aligned with internal and external best practices.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities

  • Participate in the definition of business needs and key performance indicators for digital solutions (websites and mobile applications)

  • Establish performance measurement requirements and needs

  • Work in close collaboration with the digital platform development teams to set up and perform quality assurance of tagging plans in line with the defined business objectives

  • Support the implementation of metrics on digital platforms by configuring analytics tools (Web and Mobile) and using different programming languages

  • Identify the path breaks experienced by our members and clients in the use of our virtual platforms and actively participate by providing concrete solutions to resolve them

  • Develop performance reports and create dashboards using analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Firebase, SAS, etc.) and reporting/analysis platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Excel) to make data available in a self-service format

  • Conduct detailed analyses of website performance

  • Popularize analyses so that all stakeholders can understand the data and support users of the systems, tools and databases in interpreting the results

  • Contribute to the implementation of analytical tools to allow the team and clients to base their actions on concrete data

  • Collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of the governance of web behavioral data

  • Collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of the documentation of tools, methods and business rules

  • Propose new tools and methods for monitoring digital performance

  • Workplace: Currently regular telework because of the pandemic. Position located in Lévis, Aurora, Mississauga or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, e-commerce, computer science, computer engineering, business intelligence, analytical marketing or in an appropriate discipline

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in web analytics

  • Ability to take charge of files

  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel

  • Very good knowledge of analysis and measurement tools for web and mobile platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Firebase Analytics, Big Query, Datastudio)

  • Knowledge of cross-platform measurement (an asset)

  • Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI visualization tools (an asset)

  • Knowledge of Atlassian, Jira and Confluence (an asset)

  • Very good knowledge of Javascript and JQuery programming languages (SQL and Jason an asset)

  • Knowledge of SAS software (an asset)

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry (an asset)

  • Fluency in French and English at an intermediate level
