Job Description

  • Your role will be to help develop applications, technological options and proposed solutions, from project design to implementation, mainly in advanced data analysis and artificial intelligence. You must also ensure the quality of professional services and maintain positive client relations.
  • More specifically, you’ll be asked to:
  • Actively participate in developing and implementing data infrastructures that enable clients to perform advanced analyses to resolve concrete problems.
  • Participate in discussions on architecture to build trust and ensure client success when implementing advanced data analysis solutions.
  • Participate in industrial IT and automation development and programming projects at various client sites.
  • Be responsible for ongoing activities involving the design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of automated solutions
  • Help manage, install and configure systems, utility software and other software packages
  • Work closely with members of the BBA and client teams, especially data science experts
  • Apply the firm’s health and safety policy and take the necessary preventive or corrective measures to perform work safely.
  • Become familiar with the corporate prevention program and apply directives specific to position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, computer science or other relevant field of advanced data analysis.
  • Solid ability for problem-solving and to propose innovative solutions
  • Solid knowledge of data management (storing, visualization, modelling, extraction and manipulation of real-time data flows).
  • Ability to perform manipulations to transform raw data into more appropriate and useful formats for analysis
  • Good knowledge of the Python programming language and data analysis and machine learning libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
  • Updated knowledge of current market trends in artificial intelligence and machine or deep learning
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing or other related fields
  • Asset: Master's degree in statistics, applied mathematics, computer science or any other field related to advanced data analysis
  • Asset: knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Scala
  • Asset: knowledge of commercial data science platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure ML, Amazon SageMaker, RapidMiner)
  • Asset: knowledge of best practices in object-oriented programming (e.g., design patterns)
  • Asset: knowledge of relational (e.g., SQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French) spoken and written
