Great Canadian Gaming is currently looking for two Senior Business Analysts to join our team based in Toronto, ON.

Reporting to the Director, Business Solutions & Project Delivery, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for carrying out analysis work for One IT projects and service requests. This includes documenting functional and non-functional requirements, data flow documentation, assisting with business case documentation, preparation of test plans, test cases and training guides. This role will also be responsible for the development and ongoing improvement of templates and tools used for business analysis activities and deliverables.

Duties and responsibilities for the next Senior Business Analyst will include:

  • Acting as a key customer interface in all aspects of the software implementation and maintenance lifecycle including requirements definition, documentation of alternatives and recommendations, cost of ownership analysis, and preparation of testing and training documents
  • Ensuring documentation of business processes, policies, procedures and IT control
  • Supporting project planning, management and execution to ensure successful delivery of IT projects
  • Establishing strong working relationships with stakeholders: team members, management and vendors
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate business units
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed

  • Post Secondary education in information systems or suitable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst
  • Experience working with application and infrastructure selection and implementation projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Office-Word, Visio, Powerpoint
