Reporting to the Master Data Manager, the Data Analyst is responsible for regular scheduled data imports, on-going data cleansing and maintenance to promote system data integrity and quality. The candidate will be a confident self-starter who ideally has experience in food service, retail or CPG industries with a focus on data management and who has an appreciation of the value and impact of quality data within an organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete monthly data imports to collect data from direct suppliers and distributor partners
  • Adhere to the schedule for data imports to ensure all stakeholders in the organization have visibility to data at the agreed timelines
  • Assignment of key attributes and error checking with a keen focus on accuracy
  • Leverage tools, resources and best practices from distributor partners, GS1 and the entire Aramark enterprise to achieve results
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including Procurement and Finance or suppliers to resolve issues/discrepancies
  • Proactively assess instances of data quality issues and resolve problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction
  • Assist with building data strategies, polices and controls and follow through on implementation and adherence
  • Challenge current processes, systems and tools to identify and implement opportunities for improvements
  • Participate in projects/initiatives related to system enhancements or data quality
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and build relationships to collaborate on projects and drive business changes

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Information or Data Management, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Experience in Data Management - data collection, manipulation and analysis
  • Demonstrated cross-functional knowledge of master data usage within an organization
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word)
