Blue Sky Consulting is looking for a full-time ERP Business Analyst with a strong accounting and finance background to join our growing consulting team. This is a permanent employee position for someone who understands accounting processes and wants to build a career combining finance, business analysis, ERP systems, and client consulting. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, functional consultants, developers, and project managers to understand business requirements, improve processes, and support ERP implementations and ongoing optimization. Key Responsibilities Work directly with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and requirements. Analyze financial and operational processes, including: GL, AP, AR, FA, Banking and cash management, Inventory and costing, Purchasing and sales, Financial reporting, and Month-end and year-end processes Translate business requirements into clear ERP functional requirements. Participate in ERP discovery and requirements-gathering workshops. Document business processes, functional requirements, process flows, and system gaps. Support ERP configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment. Prepare and execute test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and migration activities. Provide end-user training and post-go-live support. Work closely with technical consultants and developers to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate client business processes. Track issues and action items and follow them through to resolution. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience in accounting, finance, business analysis, ERP consulting, or a related role. Experience working with ERP or accounting systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both finance users and technical resources. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a consulting environment. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Odoo Microsoft Power Platform Power BI Azure DevOps ERP implementation projects Inventory and manufacturing accounting Project accounting Multi-company and multi-currency environments A CPA designation or progress toward a CPA designation is an asset but is not required. Is comfortable working directly with clients. Can understand both the accounting and operational impact of system changes. Can translate business problems into practical system solutions. Takes ownership of assigned tasks and follows issues through to completion. Communicates clearly and proactively.

Requirements
