Role overview WorkSafeBC’s Business Engagement Services department is seeking a motivated Business Analyst intern. The department provides project management, business analysis, and change management services through process improvement and technology initiatives. This is a four-month co-op role starting in September 2026. Workplace The role is based in the Richmond office five days a week. Responsibilities Gather and analyze information from a broad range of stakeholders. Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions supporting strategic initiatives. Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. Develop and improve business processes. Analyze operations to improve efficiency and quality. Analyze and document processes affected by new systems or system enhancements. Candidate requirements MBA internship major or specialization in consulting, strategy, technology, innovation, or operations management. Registered student at a post-secondary institution participating in a work-integrated learning program. Legally entitled to work in Canada. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, multitasking, prioritization, and adaptability skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred Knowledge And Required Tools Working knowledge of project management, process improvement, program evaluation, data analysis, facilitation, research, innovation, or change management is an asset. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience is required. Compensation Salary is $34.04 per hour. The compensation package includes 4% in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of vacation. Requirements

Candidates must be registered students in a work-integrated learning program pursuing an MBA with a specialization in consulting, strategy, technology, innovation, or operations. Legal entitlement to work in Canada and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
