We're looking for experienced Business Analysts to lead and mentor a team of analysts creating high-quality, business-focused content that trains cutting-edge AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep business expertise, strong leadership instincts, and a commitment to analytical excellence. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Content Specialists producing AI training content Allocate tasks, oversee workflows, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across the team Conduct quality assurance reviews and continuously refine processes to improve team output Provide structured performance feedback, coaching, and professional development to team members Serve as the primary stakeholder contact, delivering regular project updates and insights Guide the creation of case studies, business scenarios, and structured analytical content spanning finance, policy, e-commerce, and more Who You Are Experienced business professional with 3–6 years in business analysis, consulting, or a domain-focused role Proven team leader with 2+ years managing or mentoring analysts or specialists Sharp analytical thinker who can evaluate the quality and logical soundness of business content Clear, confident communicator — written and verbal — with the ability to give precise, constructive feedback Creative problem-solver who can think laterally across complex business scenarios Self-directed and reliable when working independently in a remote environment Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Master's degree or advanced qualification in a business or quantitative discipline Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or content evaluation workflows Background in case study writing, academic research, or structured business content creation Familiarity with AI tools or large language models as an end user Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading AI research labs Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life Freelance autonomy with the substance of meaningful, high-impact work Gain first-hand exposure to how advanced AI models are built and trained Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
