Job Description On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program as outlined below. This position will be required for a twelve (12) month term, beginning immediately or as soon as possible. The successful candidate will report to the organization's Program/Project Manager and collaborate closely with stakeholders and various departments across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Identify and document business problems, opportunities, risks, and objectives. Lead stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions. Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources and resolve conflicting requirements. Translate high-level business concepts into detailed functional and technical requirements. Document business requirements and high-level solution designs. Assess and document current-state (as-is) business processes and develop future-state (to-be) processes. Prepare decision-support materials and present findings to stakeholders. Support development of KPIs and reporting tools. Support project planning, WBS, RAID logs, status reporting, and other project documentation. Develop or support test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test scripts. Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices. Support or lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Work with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve functional and requirements-related issues. Support change management, training, operational handover, and documentation. Key Deliverables Business requirements and functional specifications As-is and to-be process maps Use cases and user stories Fit-gap analysis RACI matrices RAID logs Requirements Traceability Matrix Test planning and execution documentation Change management materials SOPs and operational documentation Training materials Project status reporting Required Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience providing senior business analysis leadership on large-scale, complex system implementations. Experience supporting SDLC initiatives as a Business Systems Analyst. Experience with both on-premises and SaaS environments. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data centre technologies, on-premises networking, and cloud infrastructure. Proven experience conducting current-state assessments and developing future-state processes. Strong requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and process modelling skills. Experience leading or mentoring business analysts and subject matter experts. Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills. Ability to translate business requirements into detailed system specifications. Experience working in complex stakeholder environments with competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience developing KPIs and metrics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Visio and Project. Bachelor's degree with formal business analysis training, or equivalent experience.

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of senior business analysis experience on large-scale system implementations, including SDLC initiatives and both on-premises and SaaS environments. Candidates should have strong requirements, process modeling, stakeholder facilitation, IT infrastructure, and communication skills, along with a bachelor's degree and formal business analysis training or equivalent experience.
