The Business Project Lead is a key member of the Project Management Office. The position is the value-add liaison between the Account Team and the SMEs. The role interprets client and account service needs and translates them into detailed and accurate project estimates and proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business objectives into high level requirements in order to attain detailed quotes from SMEs
  • Complete detailed quotes and profit analysis for proposals, with assistance from SMEs
  • Ensure that the quote and brief match the Scope of Work
  • Run kick-off meetings to onboard other PMO team members once Scope of Work documents are signed
  • Work with the Account Team to ensure that client expectations align with realistic technical capabilities and capacity
  • Build relationships and trust with and between the Account Teams and the Department Leads in order to facilitate successful delivery of client expectations
  • Navigate the matrix between SMEs, PMO, Account Service and Finance and financial software systems in order to input data accurately for project quoting, creation, management and analysis
  • Work with the Account Team to ensure that the brief is complete, comprehensive and clearly represents clients' needs
  • Take ownership of the contents of the brief
  • Work collaboratively with development staff and support staff to maintain thorough knowledge of execution capabilities within DAC Group
  • Assist the Account Team to qualify and quantify client expectations
  • Identify conflicts and opportunities in the client proposal stage
  • Provide technical insight to the Account Team

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate experience estimating project scopes for a number of digital lines of service: SEM, SEO, strategy, display, marketing science, web design, content at scale, presence management and other performance marketing areas
  • Three (3) years of experience in a digital environment
  • Proven experience in providing project estimates (quoting project effort) and financial analysis encompassing cross departmental stakeholders
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional, mature, motivated and self-directed
  • Objective, with the ability to clearly communicate solution benefits and risks
  • Mental agility in order to develop alternate client solution options
  • Team-orientated, collaborative and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Advanced personal time management skills; working with multiple teams, offices and countries across a number of time zones
  • University degree or college diploma
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including proficiency using Excel functions, pivot tables and charts
  • Digital agency environment experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset
